Slade Wodson, former Western Albemarle football and track standout was arrested by police in the highway shootings.He had previous charges when he stole and set on fire two cars in 2007.
Another person was shoot when he approached police with a DRAWN GUN. That occured at the home where Slade Woodson was arrested. The person shot was taken to the hospital by helicopter.
